Good frog rod under $100

Curious as to what I should be looking for as far as parameters for a good frog rod are. Length, action, etc. Thanks in advance

I've been using the H2O xpress ethos from academy sports the last two years, in the 7' heavy power, fast action.  It's paired with a Lews tournament MB with 40 lb braid.

It has worked out great for me, a pleasure to fish with and  a great bang for your buck at $59.

I bought it from hearing bluebasser always talking them up, and he's right.

I like a 7' -7'4" heavy power, fast action rod.  I like tip soft enough to cast and walk the frog.  Also I'd like a rod that is relatively lightweight.   I currently use 2 rods:  megabass XX perfect pitch and a klx 7'3" frog, jig, creature.  Both have powerful backbones.  There's a lot of great choices in the $100 range.

I use a 7' 6" HF Vendetta, which I believe I picked up for 80 bucks. I really like it, but it is a broomstick.

7' 3" H/F Ethos Micro is the best frog rod I've ever owned and they're only $80 if you pay full price but I got mine for $60 on sale.

I use a 7'MH F Gander Mountain GSX Tournament that retailed for $100 but I got for $50.  I don't typically fish in anything super thick so MH is all I need.  I have a very good hook-up ratio and then when they get hit, it pulls them in fast enough.  You're always going to get a ridiculously broad spectrum when you ask what "the best X" is.  My advice is get an idea of rod and reel specs and go with the best you can reasonably afford.  Or WANT to afford...

i have a falcon jason christie 7'3" heavy rod that is perfect for my frog fishing.. walmart has them on clearance at some stores for $25.

The good thing about frog rods is they don't have to be crazy sensitive.  They just need to have good action and backbone.

If you're buying price that's not a bad deal. Personally I wouldn't buy it at any price. But, that's just me.
