IndianaFinesse Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 I'm going to bet on the the winner of the packers/cowboys game are going to play against the patriots in the Superbowl. And the patriots (barring major injury's) are going to win it.

If they can keep that up I think it will be a Falcons - Packers NFCCG. Assuming Brady AND Garopolo don't die this week I don't see them having an issue with the Texans, but we'll see. Steelers and KC should be a good game, I'm picking the Steelers though. The Steelers offense scares me right now.I'd rather play KC.

Houston +17 at New England (largest spread in modern super bowl playoff NFL history) Pittsburgh +2 at Kansas City Seattle +4.5 at Atlanta Green Bay +4.5 at Dallas Hopefully the divisional round turns out some closer games than the wild card round did. I think all the games will be pretty close...except for the pats houston game, houston is just too overmatched.

Super User Jrob78 Posted January 10, 2017 Super User Posted January 10, 2017 I fully expect ATL and NE to get through to the next round. The other two games should be really good. Give me DAL and PIT, but it could go either way in both of those games.
Super User deaknh03 Posted January 10, 2017 Super User Posted January 10, 2017 All home teams win this week..

Only problem is Ben is in a boot. His bad ankle is gonna affect his throwing and his mobility. I've seen him play with a bad foot before and the defense had to try and keep the team in the game. Not surprisingly, they lost the game. They are going against a very good KC team. I'm a Steelers fan but I'd put my money on the Chiefs even with the point spread.
dwh4784 Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 Other than Houston, any of the road teams could win. I'd give GB the best shot, followed by the Steelers, Seahawks a distant third since they have been so bad after a good win.

Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted January 10, 2017 Global Moderator Posted January 10, 2017 Ben was going up stairs without the boot without even a sign of a limp. As bad as the Chiefs run D is, it might not even matter if all he can do it turn and give the ball to Bell. The Chiefs D is worse and more banged up than it was during the beat down in the first meeting. I'm betting it's not even close this time either.
CTBassin860 Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 Got chippy at the end On 01/10/2017 at 1:16 PM, Bluebasser86 said: Ben was going up stairs without the boot without even a sign of a limp. I hope KC wins for that reason.Bell scares the crap out of me.I'd rather take on KC.

Houston has a Solid Defense that is Coached by Experienced Men who are very familiar with the "Patriot's Way". The "experts" expected a blow out but as is routinely the case - they were proven wrong. . . . . It was a hard fought playoff game which is the way it's suppose to go - I'd agree if the Pats turn it over against either incoming opponent next week they will get blown out. If not - it should be another competitive game. A-Jay 1
Super User MassYak85 Posted January 15, 2017 Super User Posted January 15, 2017 Pats played a very sloppy game and probably would have lost to a team with an offense capable of fully capitalizing on the turnovers the Pats gave up. That being said I do think putting up 34 points against the number 1 ranked defense despite all the mistakes is nothing to shrug at. Brady I'm sure won't let a sloppy performance like that happen two weeks in a row. Predictions for tomorrow: Packers 33, Cowboys 28 Steelers 28, Chiefs 24 1
IndianaFinesse Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 I'm betting on the cowboys and the steepers winning today, although both games could go either way. Should be some close games.

Super User Darren. Posted January 15, 2017 Super User Posted January 15, 2017 Until last night I hadn't seen the Falcons play all season. Wow, that's quite a potent offense. They'll pose quite a challenge if they make it all the way to the SB. I could see them running roughshod over the Pats' defense if they meet in the SB. And I picked the Pats to win it all this year. Now I'm not so sure... But think I'll stick with my pick for now as I think Tommy Boy has some more turf nuggets to rub in the Commish's face for that suspension. 1
