It was nice to see the defense play so well though. Sean Lee had an amazing game. A lot of people here in Dallas are already screaming for Romo. It's insane. Dak def looked a lot better this week. Hate his only TD pass was called back on a holding penalty. 1

This is the 3rd or 4th time they've gone up against the #1 defense or the #1 rushing defense only to knock that team out of their #1 status. They will definitely get ROY and MVP consideration. The defense has been playing really well too and they are getting guys back in time for the playoffs. Detroit should test them though. 1

Maybe this will hush the Romo peanut gallery. Gonna be interesting to see how things go down the stretch. Also, just heard Dak was selected to the Pro Bowl. I'd imagine Zeke was selected as well. 1

You don't have enough faith in your team if you think the Lions will test them.

I just thought Stafford was having a really good year, that's mainly what I was referring to. Our secondary has been pretty good but they are definitely susceptible to big pass plays.

I'm pretty sure three O linemen were selected too, Frederick, Martin and Smith. 1 minute ago, deaknh03 said: But...it's the lions, and it's stafford. They'll choke it away, don't sweat it. For those reasons it's always best to respect your opponent. That doesn't necessarily mean you have less faith in your team. 2

For the same reasons I mentioned I do not "bet" on athletes. Also I would not bet on any group of whiny, sniveling, childish "adults", taking a knee during the national anthem, while being paid more money than a hard working American will make in an entire lifetime. The Lions are leading their division and have a way better chance of being in the playoff than Cleveland since they were eliminated already from any playoffs.

I agree about the whiny part...but still, money aside, you betting on the lions?

Super User Jrob78 Posted December 24, 2016 Super User Posted December 24, 2016 It looks like New England's road to the SB just got a lot easier. Derek Carr appears to have broken his leg. 1

It's a better NFL when the Raiders are contending. Hope it's not as bad as it looks. He did mouth "it's broken" when he was coming off the field and he couldn't put any weight on it.
Super User Jrob78 Posted December 25, 2016 Super User Posted December 25, 2016 Broken fibula for Carr. Marcus Mariota also broke his fibula today and Tyler Lockett broke his leg, probably tibia and fibula. Tough day for legs.
Super User Gundog Posted December 25, 2016 Super User Posted December 25, 2016 How lucky is New England? Probably the only team that could give them a battle in the AFC and the qb breaks his leg. Dang, like Tommy boy doesn't have enough luck.
