That was a Decent Thursday Night Game tonight ~

As always seems to be the case - Injuries plays a big role and Both teams had some.

KC went ahead early and was able to make enough plays on both sides of the ball to hang on for the win.

Glaring factor for me was how Inaccurate D. Carr was on short & intermediate passes (although his receivers weren't exactly helping him out as there were also a number of dropped passes) especially in the second half - may have cost his team a chance to pull even at the end.

Next - The Monday Night Tilt should be fairly action packed.

I'm pulling for the home team.

I wonder if this will be a sham resulting in over inflated penalties as well..it's the Maras, again. They pushed for the original deflate gate ruling...but then resigned they're own kicker who beat his wife, admittedly.

Man, how do ya'll even watch a game in this mess? Lol! It's just plain wrong! I hate cold weather.

Here in green bay now.  We got 3 in of the white stuff last night.  5 to 9 inches expected by the end of the night! Snow makes it fun!

We went the cheap route and drove my work car here.  On a beer run this morning,  while "drifting" around corners,  we realized that was probably a bad idea! Hahaha

Time to head to the field to tailgate and drink several, more,  brewskies before the game!

How? The NFL was suppose to monitor air pressure for footballs before and during the game. They were also gonna be in control of the ball during the game to take it out of the hands of teams. This is just stupid.

With all the stupid decisions and outright lies coming from the nfl, how can they wonder why ratings are down..

MNF ~ Entertaining first half.

I would also like to add that much of Mr. Dilfer's Football analysis is drivel.

Yeah, that was hard to watch. Def not the best Dak has played. Or Zeke.

What cracks me up is some of the college sports commentators, especially in football. It'll be completely obvious that this is the 1st game the commentator has covered for a given team, in like two yrs or more. But you'll hear them speaking some pre-written statements or facts about said team, or a player. And they'll speak it like they're an expert or on a 1st name basis with the player. It's quite comical & very obvious to see thru.

I experience this a lot being a Mississippi State fan. Seldom do we get national attention or coverage. Sometimes I'm like..... Hey idiot! We're not Ole Miss. That's our bitter rival! ??? I say that bc I've heard a commentator refer to us as Ole Miss, more than once. ?

Yeah, it was pretty bad.  This was Dak's first really bad game.  It was nice to see the defense play so well though.  Sean Lee had an amazing game.

A lot of people here in Dallas are already screaming for Romo.   It's insane.

Oh how fickle the masses can be, lol. We had Miss State fans screaming for Dan Mullen's head this season til we won a few we were expected to lose, including the Egg Bowl.

And yeah, ole Sean Lee is a beast!

One bad game shouldn't mean benching Prescot. With him, IMHO, they have the best shot at getting to the SB. I don't think Romo could take them there.

I would think you have to be looking at Dak as the QB of the future. It will be a good test of his mental fortitude to see how he rebounds from a poor showing. I wouldn't want to bench a guy for 1 bad performance.

I don't know what Romo's contract looks like, but with as many teams need a starting QB, seems like if you could get a good draft pick for him to help build up an already good team, that would be something that would have to be seriously considered.

Dallas needed to lose that game. Young teams without leaders who have "been there, done that", can use a loss like that to refocus.

I agree, they need to face some adversity before the playoffs start.  They did a good job of staying focused during the winning streak, I'm curious to see how they handle losing.

The other issue with Romo is the last 3 hits he's taken have caused serious injuries.  I don't have any faith that his body can hold up to NFL hits anymore.  I don't see him playing in Dallas next year, Dak is the man in Dallas.  I'm not sure what his contract status is either, Jerry Jones has reworked it so many times over the last 4 or 5 seasons.  I know it's bad but not sure how bad.

john mara are always starting trouble for other teams, even when no rules are broken. i'd love to punch that guy in the face. going back to the cap penalties for the redskins and cowboys. League said the teams done nothing wrong in the uncapped year yet still punished both teams because mara wanted it and was pushed by eagles owner lurie behind the scenes, at the same time ignoring other teams who put big bonuses in the uncapped year. mara, as head of the nfl management council, only cared about punishing the two teams in his division who posed a direct threat to his team...hate that guy and have no respect for him

Romos contract, currently as it is, is a salary cap nightmare. why do you think jerry jones was saying he hoped he could talk romo in to sticking around another year? because unless romo restructures and takes a huge pay cut then the dead cap money from trading him or cutting him will go on dallas salary cap. they could use the june 1st rule and split the cap hit up, but even then its still a large chunk of cap devoted to a player no longer on your team...his contract almost makes him untradeable from a cap stand point, id look for him to restructure to facilitate a trade so he can go elsewhere and get a starting job. he basically has dallas over a barrel due to all the contract restructures to create cap space in past years and push it into future years...

I still find it funny how they never released the PSI data from last year. But yea, they are supposed to be in control of the balls now.

Maybe they should suspend Wilson® for 4 games for making footballs that leak too much

Finally a solution!!! Mass Yak, you are a genius. And while we're  at it maybe we can have Tom Hanks scream WWWIIILLLLSSSOONNNNN!!!!!! before every game. :3d-funny-eyes:

BTW, I think that movie would have been funnier if it was a soccer ball from Voit.
