Super User Jrob78 Posted December 2, 2016 Super User Posted December 2, 2016 11-1 Phew! Lucky to get this one.

But then they drafted Dak. I went to Miss State, worked at the university for 12 yrs & lived in Starkville, MS for 17 yrs. My oldest kid is a freshman at MSU now. Most of my wife's family are Bulldawg fans. My point, we bleed maroon & loved Dak Prescott while he was at MSU. He's a great guy. I've watch every Dallas game this yr - the most NFL I've watched in probably the last 10 yrs combined. That was a close one tonight. I hope they win it all. Go Cowboys! 1

They can only play the teams on their schedule - still have to win them. Every teams roster has 50 or so full grown & prideful athletes who do not want to or enjoy losing. A-Jay 3

Super User roadwarrior Posted December 2, 2016 Super User Posted December 2, 2016 Although I don't think even The Tide would fare well in the NFL, I'm pretty sure they could win one game.

I don't know..every year this comes up. Let's not forget that pro teams are full of all the best athletes, while college teams might have 1, 2 maybe 3 elites..the rest would only get hurt and be in the way against a pro team. 3

Every pro says the biggest adjustment going from college to the pros is the speed of the game. You add on the years of experience on pro teams compared to only 4 years max for college teams and I have to say any pro team would beat the best college team. Just my opinion. 2
Super User Jrob78 Posted December 5, 2016 Super User Posted December 5, 2016 Cowboys are in the playoffs. 2
Super User Darren. Posted December 5, 2016 Super User Posted December 5, 2016 Bills win the Super Bowl! Mark it in your calendars... <wakes from decade long coma> Wh....whaaa? Tom Brady is STILL the best QB!!??!?!? <gives up hope> 3

I don'[t necessarily think you can say they are worse because they have only beat bad teams, they still won. But I think it does set them up for potential playoff disappointment. I think if they were to play the seahawks they could get shocked their first playoff game.
