jr231 Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Anybody here watch the Bengals ?? Now that I live in ohio (and don't pay for nfl access ) I only get to see about one lions game a year. So I watch the Bengals. I actually went to two games last year. Houston. And Pittsburgh. Which we lost both. And going into the Houston we were undefeated ha-ha. And we didn't lose by much.. in fact Houston only scored one touchdown... a pass. And guess who it was on ? Only the loudest mouth on our roster. Adam Jones.. he needs to go. embarrassment to the game.. And honestly being at the games.. and seeing how we looked.. we act like a d**n chain gang. (And not the one moving the first down markers) really embarrassing to see how much talk we do. And what little we have to show for it. And the whole "who dey" thing is just one more reason I'm embarrassed to root for the Bengals. I'll tell ya who "who dey" is... whoever meets us in the first round of the playoffs. The playoff game last year against Pittsburgh. Which we had won. Until we fumbled. Then Jones pushed a referee after our linebacker made a dirty hit.. just sad. I've never been impressed by a big mouth. Bad for the game.

And I have always rooted for my home teams Rangers, Mavericks, Stars, but the last few years the product just hasn't been winning. I would rather watch the Stars first now days and that is sad as I am no hockey fan at all. But you know the Mavs and Cowboys aren't winning. Rangers seem to disappoint me when I watch so that leaves the hockey.
jr231 Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Lol I'm not a band wagoner .. i stand by the Lions whether we win or lose. And by that I mean I stand by them when we lose... ha-ha. As for the Bengals . I live in ohio now and only get to watch the Sunday , Thursday and the local games.. which means I hardly get to see the Lions. As my whole family here roots for the Bengals. I try to too. But I could care less about them really. I was just ranting about how we look like a bunch of remorseless, loud mouthed group of thugs.

jr231 Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 Lol watch the Bengals. No denying it! Especially Adam Jones!! I have no comments on the cowboys. Now the cowgirls... ha-ha. Family site. And the PC police apparently.
dwh4784 Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 Is it different for any team? Seahawks are terrible. Embarrassing to watch sometimes. OK pretty much all the time.

I'm pretty sure he's saying the thug life style seems to show through. And I see it on occasions in the NFL. Just watch the news about once a month, one is guaranteed. And that is only the ones getting picked up / caught. We all know that is only a small % based on statistics. Just watch the stupidity this weekend if Seattle does what is rumored.

Ok, I see..and I agree, I really dislike seeing the thug like behavior from any athlete, as it's only propagating that to any kid watching. 1
Super User flyfisher Posted September 11, 2016 Super User Posted September 11, 2016 The Eagles beat at sam that they should have on paper and they did so convincingly. I do like what i saw in Wentz as he seems to have poise not seen in a rookie QB, let alone one from a small school and one that didn't play in the preseason. They keep the playbook simple for him and it showed bit he made the plays. His long ball was very nice today....I will curb my enthusiasm though until I see him play a few more games against some better teams.
Super User iabass8 Posted September 12, 2016 Author Super User Posted September 12, 2016 Hopefully that puts an end to the "dak prescott is the next brady/rogers". Fortunately for him, Terrance Williams will get pretty much the entire blame for not going out of bounds. Wentz looked pretty good, albiet the browns, but still not shabby. lots of good games this week so far. Jack del rio is a boss with huge huevos.
jr231 Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 @deaknh03 lions and bengals won today. So hah! 1

Andrew luck actually looked pretty decent, but his protection was so bad he was constantly under pressure.

Better replacement for Romo than Mark Sanchez.....buttfumble

Better replacement for Romo than Mark Sanchez.....buttfumble I actually watched the game. I also didn't say he played poorly or anything about your odd obsession with sanchez. I said he wasn't the second coming that people were praising him to be and his vanilla performance against a sub par defense was enough to disprove the ridiculous expectations he had.
Super User flyfisher Posted September 12, 2016 Super User Posted September 12, 2016 Dar didn't look as good as he did in preseason. As far as the two rookies in the NFC east making debuts, it was hands down Wentz. I was shocked since he was from a small school and didn't even play in the preseason but in game 1. Prescott looked to be rushing and not handling the big stage and Elliot was a non-factor.
jr231 Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 @IndianaFinesse imma be greedy and say I want 2 now ?. I don't think the colts are a bad team. A good win for sure.
