Super User iabass8 Posted August 19, 2016 Super User Posted August 19, 2016 It's that time again! Preseason week 2 just started and this thread still wasn't up. Let the discussion begin! Eagles finish last in the NFC east 1
S. Sass Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 Romo will get killed 2nd game of the season and we lose out from there. Eagles finish just above the Cowboys. 1

Super User Gundog Posted August 19, 2016 Super User Posted August 19, 2016 Cleveland Browns find new and unusual ways to lose even with RG3.

Turkey sandwich Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 I'm a Bills fan. Essentially, half the team has been injured since 1999 and the other half Whaley drafted straight to IR. I predict alcohol. 2
Super User Oregon Native Posted August 19, 2016 Super User Posted August 19, 2016 Love this time of year...leaves changing color...that crispness in the air...water cooling off...a little football watching...hopefully a lot of fishing. Go Seahawks 1

I know it's only preseason, and we can't believe everything we see, but Prescott has looked stellar the last 2 games. 6TD's, 22 of 27 for 338 yards without an interception. Look at this pass! And This! If Romo does go down, I think they'll still be in some trouble, but Dak will still be able to make plays and pull out some wins. I think we have a solid backup. 1
S. Sass Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 Well he does actually seem to understand some reads and seems to have a good arm. I like his size and mobility. But its a whole different ballgame when the other team is game planning for you. Not saying he cant handle it and having a good team around him will help but time will tell. I'm glad he is looking great maybe we will luck into a Romo replacement. The other backup stiffs we have had couldnt win at grade school ball. 1
Super User flyfisher Posted August 20, 2016 Super User Posted August 20, 2016 I find it funny how cowboys fans are all over prescott this preseason, and he has looked good, but many of those same fans were laughing at the hype Bradford was getting in last year's preseason where he was even better. I have no clue what the eagles are gonna do except their defense. their defense is going to be real good.

Not to mention when the other sides defense is the starters. Everybody puts to much importance on pre-season. These games are just for the coaching staff and the players on the bubble. Its about evaluating talent and weeding out the dead wood. Many team have made the playoffs that went *** in the pre-season. 1

Prescott hype is bradford 2015 but at least hes backup so its not that bad. Eagles def will be good....until the late 3rd/4th of every game when they have been on the field after every 3 and out bradford puts them in :). 1

Not if they are ALWAYS on the field - They might be Gasses by the middle of the third quarter. A-Jay 1

A-Jay There is no way they will be on the field more than when Chip-filled-belly was coach. And they did pretty well with him too really. 1

(I don't really know what that means , , , ) btw Philly's schedule this year doesn't look too bad. A-Jay 1
Super User flyfisher Posted August 21, 2016 Super User Posted August 21, 2016 Team wise it isn't terrible but they face 4 or 5 teams who are coming off their bye week and have an early bye week themselves.....they also don't have back to back home games until the last 2 weeks of the season.

I'm also terrified of how much damage two Ryan brothers can do to a ridiculously talented defense. By week 4, there's a good chance Jerry Hughes and Marcell Dareus will be covering slot receivers. Booze. 1
