timsford Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 That's awesome, I think you will be very pleased with it. Which model aetos did you order? Quote

I would like it to be able to handle up to a 1oz bait and not be very much over $200 Canadian. Talk to Mike (DVT) about a custom rod. EDIT: I answered without reading any replies. I see you ordered one of those $95 Aetos rods. Good choice. Quote

OnthePotomac Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 I have three Chronarch Ci4's and each is spooled with 14lb fluorocarbon mounted on 7' MH BPS Carbonlites and I could not be happier for the combinations to throw Texas rigged plastics and they did not cost me an arm and a leg. Incredibly light and sensitive and now going in to year two fishing really heavy junk on the tidal Potomac. I have two more like them with Curado 70XG's doing the same thing. 1 Quote

Thanks for your input, as I already ordered the aetos because it was like 60% off. I always hear good stuff about the carbonlites, I'll look into them for another technique or maybe if I get another t-rig rod. Quote
