So the Evergreen Shower Blows comes in two different sizes...the Shorty 105 which is 4-1/8" and 9/16oz. or the regular 125 which is 4-7/8" and 15/16oz. Which is the better all around size for LMB?

i have never used them but i don't think it really matters they will likely both catch fish. though i know that really doesn't answer your question.

I expected this post to be the result of an "auto-correct" failure but I looked it up and there really IS a lure with this name.  I don't have an answer to your question, though.  Just had to comment.

I would simply say that 105 is basically the standard size for all walking baits marketed toward bass as I believe 100MM is 4" and is what I consider the standard size walking bait.

1 ounce is heavy, I don't usually like going above 115 for Bass fishing unless the lure is thinner and then I would go up to 135mm, but I believe the Shower Blower is a Big Walker, I tend to lean 105, only because the Duo 105 size has become one of my favorite baits to throw. Changing the profile 5mm may be why fish seem to like it better than the standard 100 size?

You should buy both...

Feed your inner bait monkey.

Nah, gettin' hard to sneak new lures past the wife as it is...if a couple show up here and there she doesn't question much but if a whole bunch show up at one time that attract's too much attention...it's better to let sleepin' dogs lie :hahaha-024:

Order two, they both come in one box.

Order two, at separate times, they get shipped in two boxes.

Perhaps you need me to teach you how this whole "sneaking fishing tackle past the wife" thing works?

I like the shorty better also. Excellent bait with a real unique sound as its walked. Bretts_daddy you are putting together quite the collection of jdm topwaters. I worked it out with my wife by buying mostly used baits and then if she said anything I'd show her what they cost new. Then she would say wow you got a great deal and just let it go.

Yeah, I've decided that top water is really my favorite bass fishing technique. The wife likes shoes and watches, I like bass lures...in a perfect world that would be at least an equal trade-off but as us married guys know their wants and likes always seemed to be justified while our bass lures get deemed a frivolous expense...lol. I hear what you say about used baits and such,,,seems like it's hit or miss though on the Flea Market and if you're really after a bait you may have to buy new unless you just want to wait it out until one appears for sale. I actually did just score a good deal on eBay...a lot of 2 Lucky Craft Sammy 100's for $14, those usually cost that much each so I basically got them both for $7 which i thought was reasonable :wink3:.

That's a good deal on the sammy's. I buy some off here, some off ***.net, some off fleabay (there are a couple of sellers that have hundreds of Jdm baits under 10 bucks apiece listed at all times. There all kinds of brands and models like lucky craft, evergreen, jackall, and megabass and even a lot of really hard to find stuff from small jdm companies. If interested pm me and I'll look through my bookmarks for the sellers' names. I've bought from them quite a bit and shipping is a couple dollars per bait straight from Japan and they combine shipping. I get some off the flea market here but *** boards usually has a lot more traffic and tons of new stuff posted every day.
