Super User KU_Bassmaster. Posted February 3, 2006 Super User Posted February 3, 2006 The house I am currently renting at college had a canoe in the backyard when we started renting the place. Well it's been almost 3 year now and the canoe is still there. I don't think the boat has ever been registered. There no signs of #'s and in Kansas you don't have to register a boat if you intend to power it by hand. Would I have any problem selling this thing? Quote
Yankee_Bassman Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 I'm thinking I'd be asking the landlord first, but no, I don't think you'd have a problem as far as a title goes........ Quote

Super User cart7t Posted February 5, 2006 Super User Posted February 5, 2006 Probably a previous renter who decided not to take it with them. Not sure on the legalities on a canoe and titlement. Check your local Dept of revenue to get the official word. Quote
