I'm kind of new to the baitcaster reel scene, been a spinner guy all my life. I just picked up a Lew's Tournament MB in 7.5:1 and learning to love it.  while i like the speed of the retrieve the handle feels a little small/short to me. Is it possible to get a longer handle for it? .. is it a pain to swap out?

thanks in advance

I swapped all my handles out for carbon fiber. It is super simple and they can readily be had on eBay. If you call their customer service they will get you whatever you need. I prefer the 85mm but if you like the 95mm just give them a buzz.

If that is one of the new tournament MB Speed Spool lfs series it already has a 95mm handle. Check your box and see what it says. I am not sure there are longer handles for them.

i believe you are right , says it came with longer handle.. it just feels a little short still ...i guess custom is the only option

call lew's direct.  you can get just the handle and use your current bearings/bushings/knobs.  a 95mm carbon handle from them (handle only) was $32 shipped.

The tournament  MB  7.5:1 ratio comes with a swept  85mm handle.

The 5.6:1 comes with the 95mm handle.

Mrpao is correct. Only the low gear right hand reel has the longer handle. Lews offers a 95mm handle kit with everything needed and it's simple to swap. I always use a small crescent wrench with tape wrapped around where it contacts the handle nut so it doesn't mark it up. Hawgtech makes a nice aftermarket handle and so does semper fi. Also any pfleuger, abu, bass pro, or daiwa handle will fit and give you different knob options
