so i recently purchased an old jon boat that im gonna bring back to life. does anyone out the have any good tips for me on painting it. i found a guy that would sandblast it for pretty cheap. where should i go from there? thanks

Google it.

You find lots of articles.  I did.  I can't really remember the fine details, but I will tell you there is a TON of prep work.

I am sure LBH will be able to help you.  I will try to find those articles for you as well.

Sandblasing is a good idea but make sure you put it on saw horses .upside down, and blast the leftover sand out of all ther hiding spaces.  The ribs etc, will hold lots of that sand.
