Super User A-Jay Posted August 13, 2016 Super User Posted August 13, 2016 For the swimbait Gang ~ Straight from the man himself ~ "We are now offering a collector's edition 8" called the "Extinct" series. The above photo is the first species, out of many, we are reintroducing to the world. It is an extinct cutthroat based off of paintings that I've seen. There is much more to this story, but I will fill you in at a later time. Each bait will be numbered, initialed on the tail, and will come with a certificate to match. This is a project I have been wanting to do for a very long time. One of the main reasons is to bring awareness to endangered and extinct species. I will personally be painting each run. Our first run will begin August 15th at 9AM pacific time. In the meantime, feel free to checkout the page below." Ken Huddleston https://www.huddbaits.com/store/extinct A-Jay 3 Quote

Super User soflabasser Posted August 14, 2016 Super User Posted August 14, 2016 Seems like they might be able to add the delta smelt in the near future to the list of colors for the "extinct" series. Quote

Super User WRB Posted August 14, 2016 Super User Posted August 14, 2016 I have over a dozen limited edition 8" Hudds that were only available at the Bass A Thon over the years and use all of them from time to time. Tom Quote
Super User Raul Posted August 15, 2016 Super User Posted August 15, 2016 Other than collector purpose I don't see any particular reason to purchase one, of course those match the hatch followers capable of time travel can get some and then go back to the time when the now extinct species was available so they can match the hatch and do a massacre.... 2 Quote
blckshirt98 Posted August 15, 2016 Posted August 15, 2016 I just ordered one this morning because I was born with the predisposition to collect things I will never use. 1 Quote

That's a really honest reply, me too, 95 % of the stuff I own has never touched the water. 1 Quote
Super User WRB Posted August 16, 2016 Super User Posted August 16, 2016 Every bass lure has a life spawn after it's initial introduction. If Ken Huddleston can only offer personal painted 8" swimbaits this lure will become extinct. I see Ken has a new 10" swimmer based on the same design. I would like to see something completely revolutionary and Huddleston can do this! Tom Quote
