I never see FLW BASS and Bassmaster magazines sold at book stores , super markets , etc.  as thery suddenly stopped being available any where several months ago .Heck I no longer even see FLW BASS magazine sold at WM and they are a sponser ! ... What's up with that ? Are those two magazines still in print ? Available now by subscription only ?

I get Bassmaster through subscription but probably won't continue when it runs out, no point when I can read almost all of it online for free.

I've gotten bassmaster magazine through subscription for over 20 years. Since I was 9 years old. Online articles have made it mostly obsolete imo, but I've learned so much about bass from it I still keep renewing. It's a lot cheaper to subscribe than to buy at stores anyway

I enjoy the bassmaster magazines but I don't learn a lot from them. The older ones are way better imho

Bass and flw are sold in select stores...almost all wont carry them out of season and only a few carry through season.

My town has 3 krogers groceries.  Only the white trash one carries the flw mag in season.

Its truly not profitable to these stores

Magazines with ridiculously good looking women either fully naked or basically naked barely even sell.

Magazines with out of shape white guys trying to catch fish definitely aren't going to sell.

I don't know of any retail stores that carry hunting and fishing magazines outside of a few tackle stores. Shooting & Firearm magazines can be found, no Field & Syream, Outdoor Life, Sports Afield, In-Fisherman, Bassmaster, etc, etc. If you want them it's subscription or online magazine.

I get both Bass Times and Bassmaster because of life charter member since '68 and after reading them they go to the local veterans store.

The local grocery stores (Lucky's/Safeway/etc) along with Target and WalMart used to sell fishing magazines (FLW, In-Fisherman, Bassin', California Sportsman, and a couple of others I can't recall off the top of my head).  I've noticed as well in the past few months I no longer see these magazines at any of them with the exception of In-Fisherman at Target.  The local tackle shop carries Bass Angler Magazine, but that's about it.  I even went to Barnes & Noble and the San Jose Bass Pro Shops, and I didn't see any of the other magazines at either of those places, only Bass Angler and In-Fisherman.

I haven't seen them in a while, but I truly hope they never go away, pipe dream I know, but they are my reading material on long car rides and when we visit grandparents that don't have wifi. I also tend to keep some articles, and it is much less of a pain to pull something out of a magazine than go to the trouble of printing it out.

Also, it gets me away from the screens, be it laptop or ipad that we all have become addicted to, I am trying to start reading actual books again instead of spending most of the night on the ipad or laptop.

I go through my old Bassmaster magazines nearly every day. I have them back to 1971.

Ive been getting BASS, since 1983, due to a life membership. I still like getting them, but the issues have far far less articles that help you learn much. Those old issues are why better than those of today :)

I have several older ones, and some compilations of old articles. I value them a lot! I've read them so many times lol.
