Rain..Rain go away???

It took me a while to understand fronts and i think ive mastered how to fish around them. My question now is with this NC rain, last week water was 94, went out after a day or 2 of storms and water was 82-86. I obvious knew that it would be hard to hard to get bit. I was always told that after a day or 2 of new weather the fish would adjust. We keep getting showers like 3-4 times a day for past week, i kept getting skunked. I hook up but loose fish. My question is since  this new weather is constant shouldn't fish be back to normalcy. By new weather I mean showers off and on all day.

You know , we've had a lot of rain here too . I went fishing Monday and caught fifty fish .I figured I would start deep and play it from there  First cast of the day caught one 17 foot deep on a Strike King 6 XD  and several more after that . Also caught several 10 foot deep on a Norman Deep Lil N . Then caught a whole bunch at 6 foot on a Rapala Fat Rap . Several came at two foot on a Rogers Big Jim .  Then Texas rigged worms caught fish from 1 foot to 17 foot .  Where should they have been? I dont know . I have not mastered anything .

Rain... what rain?  Here in souther Ontario I would say we have been lucky to have had 5 rainy days all summer...  all the ponds I fish the banks have grown about 4' out from where they normally are..  I can't move our to get closer to the water because it's all quick sinking muck..  heck one of the more shallow ponds now have bottom sticking out the top of water..  making it hard to fish anything but the rivers..  

I am no expert at all but I would have to agree with you constant rain should be the normal weather pattern and you should be catching..  have you tried different depths like scaleface mentioned?  Sorry I'm of no help

I routinely target days with rain in the forecast because there is generally an extended daytime bite and it keeps everyone else off the lake.

Rainy days are great for bass fishing, at least down here.Try fishing right before or right after a heavy rain.Been having a great time catching fish after fish in these conditions.

I been fishing points and secondary points. We have few that are points that slope down to 17 ft the go back up to a hump, like a trench. I haven't tried shad raps. Throwing 10 in worms. And 6xds on points. Then go back into shallow flats with topwater frogs and senkos. I then beat the bank, swim jigs, chatter baits and pitch. My depth finder is old, just shows. Temp and depth. I hope to buy a helix 7 SI  end of month to help my offshore  stuff better. I know an excuse to buy a new rod but my st croix 7mhm feels like Im dragging a train past any crank that dives 10 ft. Might go to a 7'6  rod

i feel like it a short bite you would call, though my brother was fishing next to me with joe flies and catching big gills so maybe gills were tagging it, last night was productive though. so maybe i got them figured out
