I'll be staying there for a week in a cabin, and will be using a tin with a trolling motor. It will be on the Northeast corner of the lake. What are some good spots for the bass, and techniques up there?

Sounds like you will be in the Jefferson part of the lake.

Can't speak of damariscotta lake as I haven't fished it, but other area lakes I have fished I do best with topwaters like the bbz rat or spro frog. I've had good luck with clary lake in Jefferson & long pond in Whitefield

There's exactly where we stayed. I killed it with my spinning set up. Even fishing off the dock at night was producing. Best lake I've fished ever. That part of the lake is very rocky so there were small jaws everywhere, and occasional large mouth where it transitioned to Sandy our weedy spots. I brought up like 7 rods, but used my spinning set up 90% of the time. Was using a VMC half moon shakey head with a Rage Tail Menace Grub. Seems like that was the only thing working.
