I've been reading a little on the new St. Croix Bass X Rods that will be coming out around November......another $100 to $110 range rods to look at. That price range is hot right now and  these look like they might be sweet rods according to what I have read. I can't help myself....I love trying out new stuff.....

At that price you can spend $10-$20 more and get the mojo with SCIII graphite instead of the SCII.

More like that market is over flooded. Keeping up with all those SKU's must be tough on the retailers. For St. Croix alone, in the $90-130 price range they have:

Triumph
Triumph X
Bass X
Mojo Bass
Premier

The Triumph X is discontinued.  The Bass X are basically the same rods repackaged with a new name and style

I'm not 100% sure but I'd be guessing they'd be very similar to the last gen Mojo's. If you're wondering why they have so many rods around that price point, take a closer look at the rod forums here. Even with the pinned rod posts, there's at least a handful of posts every day about people wanting a rod in that range. Sure people ask about more expensive rods as well, but the majority of people who are looking to spend $200+ on a rod already have an idea what they are going to buy.
