Lakemaster info needed

I will be installing Hummingbird Helix 7 unit next week. Can someone tell me the best method to get Toledo Bend chart information including boat lanes.

Can I buy just Toledo Bend. Is there any other chips better than the Lakemaster Chip.

First time buying a unit with SD card.

Does anyone on Toledo Bend give electronics training. Would like to learn as much as possible about this new technology with side imaging

and the Navigation features.

I can only help with part of your question. First of all Lakemaster is awesome. IDK if you can get just TB but I know its covered in the either southeast or central states card(have to check). as far as features, I and many other on here can teach you about all there is to know. the Nav part is pretty easy to figure out. I also want to mention that I believe KVD gave a lot of credit to the Lakemaster chip for his win at the bend not long ago.

So you will be installing the Side Imaging version of the Helix 7---Helix 7 SI GPS.

There is a 2D version, a DI version and the SI version, actually six models--some without GPS.

You can purchase just Toledo Bend via the Lakemaster Chart Select program. It is incomplete though since the lake is so large, it takes a long time to survey it--its a work in progress.

Boat Lanes is a separate product that is actually GPS data that you load to the unit's memory. It is not map data. You can purchase that on-line, load it to a memory card to load to the unit.
