Monday morning I fished a lake on my cousins farm.

To start of the morning, we threw frogs, but didn't get anything, so we switched to baby brushogs.

Baby brushogs have caught piles and piles of bass there, and some big ones to.

My friend caught a nice 3lber in one spot, but that spot quit producing, so after fishing around for a while and catching little fish, we started heading back.

On my last cast, I cast up against a patch of lily pads and BAM, fish on.

He tried rapping me up in all sorts of stuff, but I had 50lb braid for that exact reason.

He weighed 6lb 2oz, my biggest of the year.

My friends 3lber fit nicely into his mouth :)

A long way. We have to keep fish to control the population.

I thought you are supposed to keep the little guys to control the population?

Regardless, you Amish boys know how to fish :)

Your right, you do keep the small guys, but there are so many big fish in there that things would go haywire if they didn't keep all of them.

It looked bigger than that to me, but the scales said 6 2. I didn't measure it tho.....
