Fish4bigfish Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 I fish from float tubes and yaks a lot. My Dobyns 735 has served me well in very thick pennywort with punch weights up to 1 oz. I want to throw 1.25 maybe up to a 2 oz punch rig but want to stick with the shorter rod. 7"6 or 8 foot rods are difficult to accurately punch from these play forms. Any suggestions? Quote
Super User BassinLou Posted July 30, 2016 Super User Posted July 30, 2016 I have the 736 Champion and it's a formidable punch rod. I stick any bass with that outfit and it's not going anywhere... Quote
