Hey, I'm in the market for a new rod and I have a chance to get the Dobyns champion Hp for 224$. Should I jump on this deal?

That is not all that great of a deal. I am sure you could do better waiting out a 15 or 20% off sale. I bought a Champion cranking stick from a local Cabelas a few years back for $159.

Guys is that a Champion Extreme HP?  If so that rod retails for $340 to $360, so yes it would be a great deal.
