I ordered a new spool for my pflueger pres. 6925. One spool was going to be for strait fluoro and one braid to leader for drop shot. Well they sent the wrong spool (6920) the spool fits the reel and the drag adjustment knob fits everything fine. The only difference is the drag is notably smaller, the capacity is a little less and the spool is lighter. Thoughts? Or should I return.

By the way the 6925 is plenty big for drop shotting for me. I have caught several fish over 6 lbs this year on this setup. I am just wondering if the drag will be ok with the 20 size spool.

If its not for immediate use (You can go without it for a week or so), get in touch with them for a return, they'll either get you a prepaid label to ship it back and replace it or tell you to keep it and ship you the correct one.

i would definitely get the right one. I would not trust the drag and right now you have done nothing wrong. You deserve to get the right spol. They should send you out the correct one and a return mailing label. Often companies will get a credit card number and not charge anything unless you fail to return the incorrect piece in a certain amount of time (often 2 weeks)
