S. Sass Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 " What else was I suppose to do while I waited for my food." I like to check out the cleanliness. I look at the habits of the employees. I look to see how they do their job. It's amazing what you can actually observe going on if you pay attention. I've walked out on occasion. After working in the Industry for some time it's easy for me to see very poor habits that make me not want to eat certain places. 4 Quote
Super User Gundog Posted July 28, 2016 Super User Posted July 28, 2016 I wish we had something like that near me. I'd be 50 lbs heavier and 100 bucks lighter. 2 Quote

Hahaha lol Yes he does, I just quit smoking a week ago and I still have the rest of this months cigarette money. I usually spend about 25 a week on smokes. Still thinking about saving the money or turning it into a tackle fund for each week. 3 hours ago, S. Sass said: " What else was I suppose to do while I waited for my food." You just creeped me out. i watched this thing the other day and they had undercover cameras in a few restaurants. Disgusting is all I can say. Most are good at keeping clean and doing things right but a few are just nasty and have no care about it at all. Dropping food on the floor and putting it back on a plate, leaving food out for long periods of time and things like that 2 Quote

LOL The food was great, the fried catfish, grilled mullet, cheese grits and green beans. A big glass of sweet tea and a basket of biscuits. I was stuffed. 1 Quote

That means you'll probably get a good many more days to be out on the water fishing later in life. Kudos! 4 Quote

S. Sass Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 Wednesday August 13th 2014 9pm I Stopped Smoking. After being addicted for 28 yrs smoking 2 pks a day or more I have no desire to have anymore. I did the I'm PO they make a mess, smell bad , and will kill ya, I refuse to be a slave to them program. In other words I quit cold turkey. I'm glad for anyone that can quit. Oh and sorry for creeping ya out. I find Chinese restaurants to overwhelmingly be the nastiest kitchens. But many fast food joints are running close seconds. 2 Quote
Super User Gundog Posted July 28, 2016 Super User Posted July 28, 2016 I'm an ex-smokers also. Quit 17 years ago before the big tobacco settlement pushed the price up. I don't think I could afford to smoke now. I started when you could buy a carton for 15 bucks. Thankfully I don't smoke anymore. About 2 weeks ago I was talking to a friend who smokes and he told me they are raising the price of cigarettes again by $1 a pack to make up for my states inability to stop spending. 3 Quote

Its funny you said Chinese food, My dad and I went to a takeout a few years ago, We order our food and pay. While we are waiting for the food we see a guy spraying the floor with a hose and water is splashing all over the food prep area and even over by the cook area. My dad just shook his head and drove off lol he was so disgusted he didn't even get the money back. 1 Quote

Super User Master Bait'r Posted July 29, 2016 Super User Posted July 29, 2016 I am seriously glad this doesn't exist near me. If it was BYOB and had a tackle section I might move right in! Quote

Good grief that sounds like some good Southern eatin'! its been to long since I've been out that way and had a meal even close to that. We also have a lakeside restaurant that services a local reservoir as a tackle shop and concession stand. I have bought some killer baits in there. Picked up some quality Dawia spinner baits that i can't find anymore. Really nice design with quality components. Quote
blckshirt98 Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 It would be better if the restaurant was on a lake or pond where you could fish while waiting for your table. 1 Quote

The Hooters in New port Richey is like that. They have a deck that you can fish from while you eat. You can even dock the boat and get a bite to eat. Quote
