Super User K_Mac Posted July 28, 2016 Super User Posted July 28, 2016 It is right there with the gold at the end of the rainbow. Look for the leprechaun... 5 Quote
EllisJuan Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 No such thing. Tatsu is the closest you will find. 3 Quote
Super User Team9nine Posted July 28, 2016 Super User Posted July 28, 2016 Pretty much agree with the above. "No" is pretty absolute. Tatsu is really good as mentioned, and InvizX is also good. If you're not looking for too high of a pound test rating, some of the specialty "finesse" fluorocarbons are really good in this area. My favorite so far is Toray Super Finesse and/or Bait Casting Finesse, but getting really hard to find in the U.S. Several new finesse fluoros being released though soon by other companies, so perhaps try one of those. -T9 1 Quote
Fishin' Fool Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 Just use braid with a fluorocarbon leader. It's as good as it gets! 5 Quote
Super User K_Mac Posted July 28, 2016 Super User Posted July 28, 2016 On a serious note, Red Label is a decent low budget choice in my opinion. Invisx is a little better, for a bit more money. Most agree that Tatsu is the best, but it is out of my budget. 1 Quote
Preytorien Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 I've had good luck with Tatsu as far as that's concerned, but I just simply can't stray away from braid. So my compromise, as stated above, is braid + flouro leader. Quote

lakeannaangler Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 No memory fluorocarbon does not exist, tardy is as close as it gets 1 Quote
Super User rippin-lips Posted July 28, 2016 Super User Posted July 28, 2016 Fluoro is largely a get what you pay for kind of deal. So I'd steer clear of the cheap stuff. Tatsu is the #1 choice bit pricey. A good fluoro that isn't too pricey is Sunline sniper super fc. Add in some kvd line and lure conditioner and it's even better. I didn't use it on the #14 and it was just fine. 1 Quote
Mark888 Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 Not sure if that exists, but i love my InvizX, minimal to no problems. I use 12 lb for cranking Quote
long island basser Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 I have not tried tatsu, but have tried others. The last few years I've been using sniper in 16 and 20 lb with NO line conditioner and am very pleased with it. No complaints. Quote
