Super User everythingthatswims Posted July 27, 2016 Super User Posted July 27, 2016 August first is the first official practice day, and day one of the event is the 4th. Hopefully my partner and I will make the top 12 so we can fish on day 3 for some scholarship money! Either way, I get to bass fish on Kentucky Lake for a pretty good chunk of time. I told my partner we have to weigh at least one fish over 5lbs so Dave Mercer can do his "g-g-g-g-giant bass" for us at the weigh in. I will do my best to keep you guys updated on how we are doing. Anybody else from the forum going to be there? 3 Quote

I'm not sure what the rules are as far as what the camera boats can film, but we were in the same cove as the Colorado team who won, and the camera guys would never look at us, even when we were catching fish, good ones. I figured they would like to film that type of stuff, as you could have cut the tension with a knife in that cove for about an hour 1 Quote

Wonder what would have happen if the Colorado Team blanked and you guys pulled out the win ? Guess it worked out but having plenty of footage on the second place team and Not The Winning team doesn't sound like a formula for success. A-Jay 1 Quote
