Anyhow, I had a box of Siebert jigs arrive in the mail today. I have heard nothing but great reviews. They sure are solid. The paint, the hook, the wire on the skirt. Best thing about them is that they seem to be slightly cheaper than commercial jigs. I will give them a dunk tommorow morning for sure! 

 

I do  the salt also. Iam on the south side, Great South Bay/Fire Island Inlet area.

Bluegill Is a favorite but the Bloody Shad Is right up there! I recently purchased the Smoked Jelly color and I'm anxious to see it In the water!

Edit: To answer your question directly; I throw the Bluegill color In all conditions.
