Drew03cmc Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 What's your favorite 4-5" straight tail finesse worm for use on either a shaky head or a light t-rig? Quote
Big Easy Bassin' Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Check out New Wave Soft Plastics. They've got a 5.75" Crawler that is very similar to the old fashioned Zoom Finesse Worm, but I love their 5.25" Shaky Worm. The head is flat and it's tapered down to a pointed tail. Great action on a shaky head Quote

Super User Catt Posted July 24, 2016 Super User Posted July 24, 2016 Zoom Bait Company announces the reintroduction of the Original Zoom Worm, a finesse worm that dates back 40 years. Except now, it will come in hand-poured triple laminate patterns instead of the conventional injection colors that originally comprised its lineup. http://zoombait.com/2016/05/zoom-brings-back-an-original-with-a-twist/ 1 Quote
Drew03cmc Posted July 25, 2016 Author Posted July 25, 2016 I have been tossing KVD Finesse Worms in shallow water on a Luck E Strike Perfect Finesse Worm heads. They're pricier than I care for on these types of worms, but they work well. Quote

Super User Gundog Posted July 25, 2016 Super User Posted July 25, 2016 I haven't had any luck on finesse worms on a shakey head. This is my first year using them and I waited till the dead of summer to try it hoping the subtle approach would catch me bass when nothing else will. I've been using zooms trick worm and zmans finesse worm but so far nothing. I've tried a spot remover and mega strikes shakey heads and so far zip. I'll keep trying till the fall. 1 Quote

But I have to say some baits stink like crap. Quote
