Jonathan Evans Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Was using a baby Bass colored Fluke with no bites at all this morning. Switched to White and landed a nice little bass on my 2nd cast. Lots of fishing pressure too! picture share Quote

Things like that will drive you nuts. I wish I spoke bass! Quote
Super User N Florida Mike Posted July 24, 2016 Super User Posted July 24, 2016 Those are 2 colors I have no results with. The next time the fish are biting the watermelon red,Im going to try one of these colors and see what happens,!! Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted July 24, 2016 Super User Posted July 24, 2016 i don't like the flukes that are more of that rubberized type plastic as they seem to float too much. I prefer the colors that are softer like moccasin blue, watermelon candy, mardi gras etc...they have a different plastic which i prefer. Quote
atcoha Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 great baits, especially when the bass are chasing shad...:) 1 Quote

Chasing the shad to the bank and trapping then in this small section that looks like a finger. Think of the movie 300 when they trapped the enemy in the narrow corridor. its like a feeding frenzy for the first hour or 2 of daylight. Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted July 25, 2016 Super User Posted July 25, 2016 Good going! I have not had a lot of luck with baby bass color either. I do much better with green pumpkin. Quote
