Huh?  Their CS is very friendly and best part you can ask the most redicoulious questions and not worry about the reaction because they can't see you or know who you are

For reference I didn't see clearance rods at their location in vaughan

This must be a generational thing, my kids say the same thing...

I'll tell you what I tell them. If you won't talk to a person about something you want, then you don't really want it enough.

Just call them.

That store is really amazing. I took the kid up to the very top and out on the roof top platform.

I will just have a little patience and wait till i get there. Then, if there is no clearance rack, i will just buy a cheaper pole. Simple as that.

They got a few Bionic Blades and Microlites on Clearance right now.  Wow...that was terrifying

seriously though you're probably gonna have to talk to people you don't know in your career or life. Customer service people are paid to be easy to talk to. It's a good skill to learn.

Hey Kevin! Hope you are having a fun summer and getting ready to hit the books once again in August.

Now to your query: Does BPS in Memphis, Tennessee have a discount rod rack?

I have no idea.

So what do you do? You can call BPS in Memphis and ask their fishing department guys and gals if they have such a rack; you can call the BPS in Ashland and ask them how you can find out if the Memphis BPS has a rod discount rack; you can send an email to BPS in Springfield, Missouri and ask them if their Memphis store has a rack; you can visit the store and ask them, personally; or you can go to the Tennessee section of this Forum and ask the guys and gals reading that topic if they know if BPS in Memphis has a discount rod rack.

Always remember one thing about making a phone call: if the call goes bad you can always hang up and hide under your bed.

i'd tend to agree with this for the most part. in addition i think it has a lot to do with text messaging nowadays. no one wants to get caught up in a drawn out phone conversation when its easier just to send a text.

I used to be the same way, I still am kind of, but now i just get it over with instead of sitting there obsessing over making the call. get used to it now i would say, you'll find out down the road you're going to need to call more and more people you don't know for various reasons whatever they may be, whether its stuff you need/have to handle, or if its just because you want to know something and/or want some information about something that you don't necessarily need to know but are curious about...

I have done that when i tried calling my friend, and dialed the wrong number....

"Now Aint Bee, JUST CAAAAWLL THE MAN!"

Sheriff Andy Taylor

Man, back in my day we had to call the girls up on the land line phone, get past one of their parents and ask them out on a date. But the phone was a firewall for embarrassment in case we got shot down (in flames). If she said no, just say "OK then, goodbye."

A girl's dad once told me to get lost and hung up on me. LOL. But I didn't despair, I persevered. The meek may inherit the earth, but they won't get what they want in this lifetime.

Clearance rack question aside, I recommend you call them.  If you can't talk to someone on the phone about something so benign as this, you're going to have REAL difficulties down the road.  Social phobias are no laughing matter and I don't mean to minimize them BUT you've gotta start somewhere.

I wasn't joking in my post.  I DID call them and that is what they told me they had.

I didn't realize, or it didnt sink in. So that means they do have a clearance rack, and thats all I wanted to know.....
