Hey guys, if you fish tube baits you got to know ow annoying it is to retie every single time because your tube head goes inside your tube, i'm looking for a Shroom head in like 3/8 and tubes that are not hollow bodied so it holds to the head properly does that exist? Suggestions??

Something like this but this is a tiny tube m looking for a 3.5'' tube 13817253_10208640711967930_92537357_n.pn

Keitech do a solid bodied tube and VMC make a mushroom shaped head in larger sizes. The tube won't work in a same way as a hollow one with an inside weight, but I'm sure it will still catch fish.

Why do you believe it wont work as well as a hollow bodied tueb?

He said it won't work the same.  Internally weighted tubes have more of a slow spiralling action.  The shroom style jighead would give it more of a straight fall, like a Texas rigged tube.

Ok i understand... but for draging and drifting it should not make a diffrence i believe

You can thread a hollow bodied tube on a jig head the same way; it doesn't need to be solid bodied.  I put hollow bodied tubes on VMC rugby jig heads sometimes, with the head outside the tube.

There is also the GYCB Fat Ika, which is a fat solid body with tentacl, although that's usually fished tentacles forward weightless on an EWG hook. Also the Z-man hula stickz has a solid thin 4" worm body with smaller tentacles at the end, which people fish on mushroom heads all the time.

Another thing you could do if you wanted is take a double tailed hula grub and cut the curly tails off; you'd be left with a solid cylindrical body like the fat ika with tentacles on one end.

Yamamoto Fat Ika is the only bait I know of that fits the bill.

Damiki Hydra is similar to the IKA and is a solid bait.

Agreed 100% :)
