glow lures??

anybody ever use glow lures for bass at night? like a glowing texas rig worm or topwater??

I've used glowing inline spinners before in chart. The pike liked it more than the bass but I did catch a few smallmouth.

well i've never used them at night, but i had some yamamoto single tail grubs in the glow in the dark color that were getting hammered during the day.  they do glow, no doubt about it, but they didn't last long enough to see the dark since the fish wore them out during the day!  need to restock on those things!

ive done well with glow lures for lake trout and salmon but those are metals and rattle traps. i want to try em out some time for bass!  i lost a very large fish one night on a chartreuse senko. this thing almost glowed it was very bright! so im think it may work good!

I just bought a bag of glow in the dark super flukes last week, still waiting to get out and try them at night, I'll report back here

I've just started messing with glow skirt material and powder paint. I tied up up a couple jigs and bladed jigs that should glow bright at night. Didn't try them this week because of the bright full moon. I'll probably give them a try next week when it's a little darker at night.

Almost all fish will eat a cataba worm and there blood is a neon glowing color so I don't see why not

used the glowing flukes once. had a flashlight in a bag full of them. used a snap to cycle them once they began to lose its glow.

kinda fun to see them dart around. i was just thinking they could work better during the day time. they can get recharged when theyre out of the water and then when submerged in deeper water the glow might attract something.

Years ago as I kid I fished with a 4" uncle Josh white pork trailer on a plain hook. I could see it being pulled every which way in the low light.

I bought a bag of GID soft plastics on some type this summer (Yamamoto grubs, maybe?), but have yet to reorganize my stuff and put them in the boat.  I do have experience with GID soft and hard baits for ice fishing and they are an advantage, in my opinion.  I have to think they'd work well for night-time or deep-water fishing for bass.

I cannot comment on their experiences, but from my own and talking to others, glow-in-the-dark accents are more effective than a fully glowing bait. Think glowing eyes, stripes, spots, etc.

I do not. I know they work for trout, salmon and panfish.  Glow jigs for perch crappies and sunnies through the ice. Glow spoons and glow beads for trout, salmon and lakers

Spro makes a line of glow in the dark frogs that I intend to test extensively this summer. 🙂

Mostly at twilight or over 25 fow, is when I think I see a difference with uv tape/paint on spoons and definitely consider it more now.

i use adhesive "bait markers" on some of my glides and swimbaits so i can see their action/find them in the water. the same company makes g.i.d. versions and i bought a sheet for my wakes/rats.  i look forward to trying them out this summer.

i have fished them since release, and i love them. the "keychain" sized, uv flashlights on amazon do a decent job of making them glow. i bought a 4"x4" "broad spectrum" uv light brick that i can keep in my car, also from amazon, and that will make them shine brightly enough to hurt your eyes.
