Will Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 Hey, I found this while surfing the interent during class, just wondering what everyone thinks of it? I don't own a boat, but I am not sold on the idea of it all be electrical it seems the cord might be safer when properly used. http://wirelesslanyard.com/cast/default.asp Quote
kayl. Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 I can see a problem with the battery dying in the transmitter; then what happens if you don't check it enough? (Everyone knows that people don't always check everything) Quote
Super User Matt Fly Posted November 3, 2005 Super User Posted November 3, 2005 I have seen the demo, and have buddies who have them installed. C.A.S.T. wireless lanyard sys. A lot of selling points. But I feel if something has worked for so many years and its not broke, why mess with it. Quote
Super User flechero Posted November 3, 2005 Super User Posted November 3, 2005 If you use a traditional life vest you don't need that. I leave the lanyard hooked to my vest and when I stop to fish, the vest comes off and stays in the seat w/ lanyard still attached. Quote
