Super User the reel ess Posted July 19, 2016 Super User Posted July 19, 2016 Rat L Trap or other lipless crankbait. Quote
Outdoor Zack Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 Berkley hard baits are pretty nice for the money. I like the flicker shad a lot Quote
ziofester96 Posted July 19, 2016 Author Posted July 19, 2016 berkley baits are easy to find here too, i really like those livetarget cranks Quote
j bab Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Off the top of my head, strike king cranks, booyah spinnerbaits, and rapala jerkbaits are good for the money 1 Quote
BiteFiend Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 I like Strike King cranks. They have good action and they flat-out catch fish for me. Plus they are fairly inexpensive when compared to others. War Eagle spinnerbaits work well for me. Booyah are a little cheaper though. If you mean hard jerkbaits, Rapala are fairly inexpensive comparatively. Their new Shadow Raps look intriguing. I haven't fished them though, so I'm not sure if they are hype or real. In any case as far as colors, match the forage of the lake you are fishing. Or water condition if murky. Quote
ziofester96 Posted July 22, 2016 Author Posted July 22, 2016 As u guys pointed out, i'm really interested in rapalas and booyahs, lucky craft cranks and yoo zurys really attract me too Quote
trick worms Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 H2o express brand(only sold at academy sports) are good Quote

timsford Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 For crank baits in the lower price ranges, bomber 5a and 6 a, bandit 100 and 200, and all the Norman cranks work great for me. I really like the whole rapala dt series and spro rock crawler and little John series, but they cost a little more. The lucky crafts are excellent but I buy most of mine used or on sale because I crank a lot of cover and hate breaking off an expensive bait. Lip less I like super spots and red eye shade and booyah (were excalibur). Jerkbaits I like the bomber long a, Smithwick rogue, rapala original floater, husky jerk, and X rap, and lucky craft pointer 78sp and 100sp. There are tons of good baits out there though and what I like may be different from what you like. As for colors I keep it simple. Shad colors, bluegill colors, and craw colors are basically all I use with a few chartreuse based patterns for murky water or if I'm going after smallmouth Quote
ziofester96 Posted July 23, 2016 Author Posted July 23, 2016 Thanks for the support, now i know which baits to chose. One last question what is the big difference between shadow rap and shadow rap shad? Quote

Don't worry about the shadow rap series just now, start with a shad rap you can fish it all year long at it will teach you basic jerk bait fishing. Quote
Damn Yankee Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 If you want to stretch your dollar, Seibert jigs and northland tackle reed runner spinnerbaits. Check prices online. Quote
ziofester96 Posted August 5, 2016 Author Posted August 5, 2016 In the end i didn't buy anithing because TW doesn't ship to the US if my billing address is in another country.... Obviously my girlfriend doesn't have the time to look for some shops so... Screw it Quote

Obviously my girlfriend doesn't have the time to look for some shops so... Screw it Don't give up! Call their customer service and ask if they can run you through a confirmation process for your credit card. After that you'll be able to make purchases shipped to a US address on your international card. You only have to do this once (until you change cards). If that's too much hassle, many other sites will work for you without any confirmation required. In a similar situation I've ordered from: www . bass pro . com www . cabelas . com www . ffo - tackle . com www . overstock bait . com www . fishing tackle outlet . net www . bass tackle depot . com ... Or I believe you can just buy a US pre-paid credit card and make online purchases that require a US billing address. Quote
chubaka Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 Red Eye Shads and also KVD Squarebill 1.5 and 2.5 Quote
