TxHawgs Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 Any way to store or straighten out boot tail swimbaits that come in bags all jacked up and don't swim right at all? Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted July 19, 2016 Global Moderator Posted July 19, 2016 Boil them until they soften up then hang them so they dry straight. I'm assuming you're talking about smaller, paddle tail baits? Quote

Not sure why I didn't think of that lol. Quote

If you hang them by the tail it works best because the weight of the bait helps keep the tail section straight. Quote
You_Only_Live_Once_Fishing Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 keep the flat in the bag or a box Quote
Super User MassYak85 Posted July 24, 2016 Super User Posted July 24, 2016 You can boil them, hang them by their tail. What I have done is if they come in clamshell packaging I cut out the cavity part and use rubber bands to hold the two halves together, then I can just throw them wherever without worry of the plastic getting deformed. Fish4bigfish Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 I boil em and then pull on the tail about 10 seconds then hang em. I store most of my hudds, ospreys etc in tupelwhere Quote
