Super User tcbass Posted July 16, 2016 Super User Posted July 16, 2016 Trying to find out what changed on say a 2005 Ranger 17vs to to a 2006 Ranger 17vs. Where would I look? How to tell changes in boats per model year? Quote
Super User Catt Posted July 16, 2016 Super User Posted July 16, 2016 One of the best websites for any information on boats is iboat but I seriously doubt it'll cover that. Quote

Super User Dwight Hottle Posted July 16, 2016 Super User Posted July 16, 2016 Get a yearly spec sheet or brochure on the boat your interested in from the dealer or manufacturer. Quote
Super User slonezp Posted July 17, 2016 Super User Posted July 17, 2016 Can't help you with Ranger. Lund has 20 years of catalogs archived on their website. Are you looking for something in particular? Quote
Super User WIGuide Posted July 18, 2016 Super User Posted July 18, 2016 Catalog is the best place to look if you have them. It doesn't sound like you do though, so what do you need to know? Quote
Super User tcbass Posted July 18, 2016 Author Super User Posted July 18, 2016 Nothing in particular. Just as I'm looking at older boats I want to know their specs. Quote
Super User WIGuide Posted July 19, 2016 Super User Posted July 19, 2016 If I remember I'll snag some pics tonight when I get home. Quote
Super User Way2slow Posted July 19, 2016 Super User Posted July 19, 2016 The VIN is the best and only way with some. Quote
S. Sass Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 I wanted to know similar things about boats when I was looking. Seems boats aren't as well documented as automobiles. Some boats have documentation or records and some don't. From my experience all you can do is research with Google, make phone calls or email the manufacturers. And post on boat/fishing forums and hope for the best. Quote
