Fishin' Fool Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 I noticed yesterday when I was looking at braided line on TW there were several new releases coming out at the end of this month for pre-order. Sunline had two- BX2 and TX1, Suffix had 1, Yozuri had 1. Anybody have any Intel on the new braided lines coming out? I'm curious about the Sunline TX1. They likely addressed the noise concern others had with SX1. Quote
flyingmonkie Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 No clue. I expected to start seeing more flouro braids on the market - any chance they are sinking? Quote

flyingmonkie Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Spiderwire came out with "FlouroBraid" which sinks. It doesn't have any flourocarbon in it, but they used the name to signify that it sinks like flouro. I've been expecting other line manufactures to offer similar products but haven't seen many yet. lakeannaangler Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 A better fluoro braid would be nice. The spider wire wasn't good at all. I know YGK makes a sinking braid but I haven't used it yet. 13 hours ago, Fishin' Fool said: I noticed yesterday when I was looking at braided line on TW there were several new releases coming out at the end of this month for pre-order. Delaware Valley Tackle Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 Braid doesn't really float. It has almost neutral buoyancy but will sink once the surface tension is broken. There are enough ways to affect fall rate without "Fluoro braid" 1 Quote
