so whats the difference between Seaguar InivzX fluorocarbon and seagur tatsu fluorocarbon, is it just more expensive, less memory, better knot strength, and etc...

Tatsu is double structured: Double Structure Fluorocarbon (DSF) creates two custom, 100% Seaguar fluorocarbon resins: a softer exterior resin to enhance knot strength and a high-density interior resin to improve tensile strength that are extruded together as one solid piece.

so which one has the lowest memory

I have used both lines but only in 4lb test for finesse application.  To me, the tastu have the lower memory and also more abrasion resistance.

The general consensus seems to be Tatsu is the better handling, but InvizX isn't far behind, especially for the price difference. I use them both, and haven't had any problems with either - but then again, fluorocarbon in general has never given me handling problems like many complain of. Haven't figured out a good way to quantify "memory."

Has anyone tried their new Finesse FC yet? Priced similarly to Tatsu. I'm debating picking some up for use on smaller plastics and wondering how it compares to and differs from Tatsu.

I just saw the new FC showcased at ICAST suspect its not on sale just yet.  FWIW I use tatsu as leaders for finesse applications.  I use InvizX for spooling on my baitcasters.  Love both.

I have used Invisex for years until I tried Sniper..won't be going back.

Tatsu is worth every penny to me. It's incredibly strong and smooth handling. I was about done with fluoro until I tried it.

Tatsu is very good, but it doesn't stand up to jagged rocks when you're grinding deep cranks over it. I'm going to try Gamma next. IMO, Tatsu isn't worth the price, even though it's very good (though the abrasion resistance is meh).

I've never found anything in the same league for deep cranking as 8lb CXX. It's the best abrasion resistant line I've ever used, it has a tensile strength of over 20lbs, and it's small enough in diameter to not get that awful memory you normally would with the bigger test CXX. Then when you throw in the price it's a slam dunk.

I exclusively use InvizX with my FC applications. I tried 14# Sniper and just had really bad luck. I've only heard excellent things about Tatsu, but for the price of InvizX on eBay and how well it performs I can't jump ship.

Curious, what bad luck did you have with Sniper? I switched from Invisex and like it much better.

It was just too stiff.

I fish Lew's, and even with both Mag/Centr. brakes fully adjusted I could just not cast a lure the way I wanted. I don't want to say it was unmanageable but.. I should probably try a lighter test before I judge the line.

Sniper IMO is the best bang for the buck when it comes to FC.  I have Tatsu on 2 rods and LOVE love love it, but it certainly is pricey!!!!!!!!!!!  Give sniper another try.

I agree with Dypsis.. I use flourcarbon almost exclusively, certainty for anything with a single hook other than punching matt's. Believe me when I tell you I've tried a bunch of them,  other than Tatsu however.

It may be better in a lot of ways and have no reason to doubt anyone's opinion, but for me my search ended at Sniper. Try a few squirts of L&L before an outing and it will definitely help. 

Now, all that being said if they stopped making it, Tatsu would be my first choice

What # Sniper did you try? Keep in mind line diameter varies widely among brands and the different series of lines. I use 10-12# for most of my casting reels with just a few that get 15#. Once you hit 15# most lines get a bit more stiffer and difficult to cast unless you are using something quite heavy. A little KVD line and lure helps too especially if it has been on the reel for some time.

I currently have 8lb Tatsu paired with a 2500 sz. Shimano Sedona FE spinning reel and I am in absolutely no way impressed. It may be because 8lb is too large of a diameter, but I constantly get knots (while closing the bail manually), and there is considerable memory even though I spray L&L the night before every outing. Not sure what I'm missing here, but Tatsu was the first fluoro I've tried, so maybe I just expected more.

I use cxx also and I like it so far. Just started using it this year

I would imagine it does well with some KVD Line and Lure.

A 15lb 1000yd spool of InvisX is on Amazon for $89.00.  The 15lb is .013 " in diameter.  That is a really huge savings if you want a lot of it on hand.
