How stable is this boat? 

Right now I have a nitro 190 and I am not sure how I will like going to a aluminum boat.

I have a Ranger RT178 which I think is very similar to the Triton 17tx.  Its very wide and stable for an aluminum boat.

Is the triton 17tx a good boat?

I have an opportunity to buy one that was won in a tournament for about $5000 less than retail.

I just bought a 2008 VT 17 which is very similar to yours. I absolutely love mine. It's perfect for all of my needs.
