HunkerDown Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Hello all, I've been reading the forums for several weeks and figured it was about time I started to contribute. I just moved to Little Rock from Memphis for a new job. I'm living in an apartment, which means no boat (the worst). So right now I'm pretty much stuck to the bank until I find a more permanent arrangement with boat storage space. I've been hopping and dragging Texas rigged, tequilla-sunrise 7-inch power worms on the bottom since I was old enough to cast a rod, which is now about 20 years. Other than brief sojourns early in the morning to walk a spook, I've never really ventured much from the ribbon tailed worm, and I thought now would be a good time to learn more presentations. Thanks to every member who has contributed to these forums. It's a vast chamber of knowledge that appears to have some really great folks. After about 10 days, I know I'm a better bass fisherman for it. Anyhow, I've rambled enough. Feel free to drop me a line with some good places to fish from the shore in Central Arkansas Quote

ajordan Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Welcome. I'm in the same situation just moved to Conway Arkansas. I notice a lot of good-looking water but don't have a boat. Are you located in Little Rock? If so I would go to the Alltel Arena and there is boat ramp near. A lot of big tournaments leave from that ramp. So all of the bass are released there as well. Quote
