stk44 Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 I went to a very pressured lake today that I've fished from shore once or twice but never really was able to dissect it and fish it. Me and my buddy had a strategy, stuck with it and it paid off. 10 fish between the both of us which were mostly smaller one pound fish but we did manage to find some good spots that had some better fish. The first fish ( 4lbs 10 oz) was caught on a black on black Cavitron buzz bait. This was the first time I used this buzz bait and it will definitely not be the last. All of the fish were associating to rocks in about 10-12 feet of water. The second bass was just over 2 lbs and I caught him on a bright colored DT10. Boat control was very tough with the 10-15 mph winds but I was able to stay focused and anchor (and drift) when necessary. All other fish were caught on a drop shot with a pearl shakey shad. Quote
