smd70 Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 Hello all, I am new to this site and man have I been missing out. Well anyways, I just purchased a used aluminum boat, my first, and am wondering who the manufacturer is. It says WOLV on it. Is that short for Wolverine? Its a 1969 14'8'' V hull if that helps any. Thanks In advance. Quote
Madhouse27 Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 Hey no fair, smd70's boat is newer than my Mercury outboard. Quote
FlyRod Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 According to my research, that boat was made by a company called: "Wobbly Old Leaky Vessels, (Inc.)". (WOLV) Seriously, be safe and have fun with it. May you catch many bass in it and share it with good friends. Better yet, teach a potful of kids to fish in it (uh, one at a time.) F.Rod ;D Quote
smd70 Posted September 25, 2005 Author Posted September 25, 2005 LoL, well I am enjoying it a ton. Went 2 weekends in a row and caught about 30+ bass. Just gotta keep fighting the wind, skiers and jetskis. Just got back from taking my 7 yr old out. She had a blast. Quote
Ben Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 I've never had but one boat that actually caught a bass, so use it and enjoy your fishing. Any boat is better than no boat (well, almost). Oh! was night fishing in shallow water and I or something spooked a small bass and it jump in the boat with us. This was a low sided jon so it didn't have to jump very high. Quote
Bass Hammer Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 Beats the bank. Have fun and enjoy. Hammer Quote
