Penguino Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 Anybody ever used them before? My garden is still full of them after successive beer cans being placed out. Even though I hate all those slimy creatures for eating the leaves off many of my plants, I just don't want to waste a potential fish magnet lol. Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted July 9, 2016 Super User Posted July 9, 2016 Never heard of anyone trying to poke a hook through that tough-skinned, plant eating terrestrial mollusk. The film of mucus it secretes for protection is particularly vulgar no matter how much beer it drinks. A-Jay 1 Quote
Holden.C Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Try it. Put 2-3 on a hook, (depending on size) and put a bobber like 18 inches up. Quote
Super User MIbassyaker Posted July 9, 2016 Super User Posted July 9, 2016 I'm curious about this too....but not that curious. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted July 10, 2016 Global Moderator Posted July 10, 2016 I used big dog ticks when I was little to catch sunfish and creek chubs. There's not much a sunfish won't eat. 1 Quote
716RAVEN Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 Catfish would definitely eat them...They eat anything.. Quote
