Been watching Andy Griffith reruns.I still laugh at them even though Ive seen them many times.My favorite episodes are esp.the ones with earnest t bass and the darling family.Whats yours?

Was watching the one today where Barney gets a Army surplus motorcycle and sidecar. Forgot how funny the show was. Gonna start DVRing the show.

It is no telling how many Andy Griffith shows I have seen.I can watch them over and over. My favorites are the one with Ernest T. Bass.Never counted but they say that he was only in about 5 of them, seems like more. I think he was one of the producer of the show. Don't make them like that any more..

I love it. It's a show we can let our daughter watch. A lot of nights at 8:00 we just turn the TV off because there is little we can all watch in primetime. 

I was talking about that show the other day with a coworker and she said it has endured because ti was the first sitcom that was not just slapstick stupid. She nailed it.

I live not too far down the road from Mayberry Café, an Andy Griffith themed restaurant with tons of memorabilia inside, and all the TVs playing endless episodes from most of the shows. I've eaten there enough that there's not too many I probably haven't seen  They even sell T-shirts with a picture of Andy and Opie carrying their poles and stating, "Wishin' I was Fishin'." Many people don't realize that the whistled theme song for the show actually has lyrics and is titled "Fishin' Hole" and was sung by Andy Griffith

It is hard to believe that Don Notts was supposed to be the straight guy and Andy the comedian. They started shooting the pilot and Andy went to the director and said that Don needed to be the funny one.

My dad's old boss was roommates with Don while they were at WVU. He would tell some of the funniest stories about him.

Man, my favorite TV show as a teenager was Andy Griffith.  I'm only talking about the seasons with Barney in them.  The whole cast was great but Barney was special.  After Barney the show when down some.  But the seasons with Barney are great.

My favorite episode has to be the one with the pickles. Every time I see it, I bust up.

There is a fish house just miles from my house. They have a Mayberry room with pictures of the show. They also have the Police car used in the show.

Just yesterday they ran the show where Gomer went to boot camp. For the first time I noticed the other actors were doing all they could not to bust out laughing. Very funny stuff.

Also saw the one where they took the kids camping and Barney and Gomer got lost. Classic!

The other day they showed the one where Earnest t Bass went to school.Definetely in my top 10.

To me, the only sit com in modern times that actually makes me laugh is King of queens.The rest of them either I dont get or it just isnt funny.

I love the episode where Andy and Barney try to get Ernest T. schooled on social skills, then take him to a dance.

I think the show is an all-American classic.  Great humor, moral lessons, and suitable for all ages... they don't make 'em like that any more!

Man, we are almost neighbors, well, within half an hour anyway  my 2 year old loves the Andy Griffith show, he'll watch it for hours when it's on. My favorite episode is the one where Barney writes the store owner a ticket for sweeping trash into the street and he threatens to beat Barney up, so they try to teach him Kung fu.

I grew up watching Andy Griffith reruns with my grandfather. Watching the show always reminds me of him.

I work in an assisted living facility, and Andy Griffith is a favorite of all the residents, along with Bonanza and Gunsmoke.

I'd have to say my favorite episode is citizens arrest lol.

The drunk guy was married.

All others are single and happy.

I think the guy was Otis Campbell.
