Ghostshad Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 They put cypress trees in our home lake but they planted most of them on the bank ,anyone have an ideal why ? Quote
riverbasser Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Just a guess but if they wanted trees next to the lake and the water level fluctuates cypress trees are a good decision since they will survive being partly submerged in water. Where as others would die Quote
Super User .ghoti. Posted July 7, 2016 Super User Posted July 7, 2016 there are likely some cypress knees in the water. Good place throw a bait. Quote
Super User fishnkamp Posted July 7, 2016 Super User Posted July 7, 2016 Boy cypress trees are great as they grow you will have a nice large knee to fish around. A jib and a cypress tree just go together. Flip that puppy! Quote
Super User N Florida Mike Posted July 8, 2016 Super User Posted July 8, 2016 Easier to dig a hole in the ground than in the mud. Quote
Ghostshad Posted July 8, 2016 Author Posted July 8, 2016 Theses are on the bank , i knew about the knees , its just watching those fishing shows & you see all these beautiful trees in the water & ours is on the bank mostly its just one here & there , i just think what a waste but like you said we have the knees .
