UKCATSBASSER Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Looking for a dock/wood flipping and pitching Rod. Normally use 18-20 pound fluro. Also would double as 1/2 - 3/4 football jig Rod for deeper water. Anyone have experience? Seem like a good fit for my intended purposes? Quote
Super User *Hootie Posted July 6, 2016 Super User Posted July 6, 2016 Sounds perfect for what you're going to use it for. I several heavy rods that I use on my lake. Tons of laydowns. Hootie Quote
Cgrinder Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Yeah, pretty good rod for that. It's sensitive and not terribly balanced considering the price point. I fish 8-9 oz reels on mine and it feels pretty good. The carbon scrim or whatever thing they've got going on might actually help? I'm not sure. Looks wicked though. Quote
Super User fishballer06 Posted July 6, 2016 Super User Posted July 6, 2016 I have this rod in the MH. For your applications, the H would be perfect. Quote
