jlacy76 Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 I saw this in a video. Can you tell me which worm this is? It You can see a good shot of it at 19:00 here. It looks like a green worm with some sort of flake with a chartreuse tip? Thanks! Quote
Super User 00 mod Posted July 5, 2016 Super User Posted July 5, 2016 Looks like a zoom trick worm to me with the tail dyed Jeff 1 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted July 5, 2016 Global Moderator Posted July 5, 2016 Zoom makes a trick worm with a chartreuse tail in a couple different main colors. Quote

Super User bigbill Posted July 5, 2016 Super User Posted July 5, 2016 Here in ct one lake it's purple yellow or chartreuse tail. But move the boat to the iland and it's a solid black split shot rigged. Now a river that has been dammed in a few places for water power in the 1800's it's a green shad at one place and a red Amber gold flake in another. My point is colors can vary. Quote
Super User Darren. Posted July 5, 2016 Super User Posted July 5, 2016 Yup, Zoom Trick worm. And welcome to the forums. Quote
Super User Choporoz Posted July 5, 2016 Super User Posted July 5, 2016 I like Bobby's shakey heads and while they will certainly stand a worm up, I suspect the one he's using is elaztech - maybe SK or ZMan finesse...that tail doesn't droop at all like a Zoom would Quote
jlacy76 Posted July 5, 2016 Author Posted July 5, 2016 Thanks everyone. You guys rock! I'm new to worm fishing. I thought that video was interesting. The spinner bait and the Senko got less action than his shakey head/zoom trick worm and his own brand of stick bait also beat the Senko. He went on and on about the Senko was the best lure ever made, but the Senko actually got less attention in the tank than the other baits. One thing did seem clear, that tail up design is a real attention getter. Are there other shakey heads, jigs or worms that would have the same effect? Quote

If the package says "Super Salt Added" or "Better Than Salt", the tail will droop as you say. Sometimes the slow fall of the salt added is what they want. Quote
