What is the best braided line that goes through the guides without making any noise, is smooth but doesn't bleed. It also should cost around $20-$25 for a spool of 150 yards. I dont like braids that get caught under the spool, thus creating backlashes. Any favorites? Thanks.

There is no "Best", I use Power Pro and have for years and like it..Tried Kansen and took it off after one outing catching one fish. Thinking of trying the new Seaguar black Flippin line soon.

Point is, what I like you may not..There is no be all end all.

It seems power pro is very popular on here. I've only used spider wire stealth braid. Its cheap and I haven't had any issues

The Seaguar Flipping braid is very nice, as is Smackdown, but neither fit into the strict guidelines.

I like Seaguar Kanzen or Sufix 832 but neither is probably going to fit everything you've asked for.

I also don't think that this braid exists. A lot of braids have those attributes but no braid fits all of those categories

I think the Sufix 832 is a very good braid, perhaps the best in your price range. For others looking for what I consider the Gold Standard, try Seaguar Smackdown and you won't want to fish any other braid...Promise!

Like others have said, there isn't a magic braid. I use PowerPro and it works good for me. It basically comes down to, what works best for your situation.

Suffix 832 meets the criteria in my opinion. If bleeding wasn't a concern 'it's not to me' then J braid is a solid choice. It's slowly replacing 832 on a lot of my setups.

Sunline FX2 or Samurai are my favorite braided lines but may not fit every component you are looking for especially price.

just spooled a new Patriarch 1000 (9325) with Gamma Torque 8 lb. braid , casts great and is very strong and it's only .003 in diameter !!!  less than half the diameter of 832 10 lb. braid !! actually it's about 1/3 ....
