Alex T-L Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 I am wondering how I would catch largemouth bass in pretty shallow brownish green water with rocks and some weeds. It is at the end of a cove in Lake Anna in Virginia. Quote
Tanner English Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 It sounds like there would be some spots in there too... I would try flipping a creature bait or jig if the grass is thick enough or maybe a junebug floating worm. Oh and a frog would probably work good too. Im down here in bama and that's how we catch em Quote

PennBass Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 If there's not too many weeds, I would try a lipless crankbait using a yo-yo retrieve or just ticking the rocks/weeds. If there's any significant pieces of structure, try getting a jig in there. If those don't work, you could always try a spinnerbait slow-rolled on the bottom or skipping a fluke under overhanging branches if there's any Quote
GORDO Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 I would try a texas rigged, weightless senko in the thickest weeks and a jig in the rocks. A square bill would be a good idea in the rocks as well. Experiment with colors, try a black and blue or a green natural color if possible. Quote
