Super User A-Jay Posted June 16, 2016 Super User Posted June 16, 2016 St Croix Legend Tournament Bass ~ either the TBC69MHMF / SNIPER SPINNERBAIT: Ideal rod for pinpoint-accurate casts of spinnerbaits at shorter distances. or TBC72MM / SMALL CRANKER: This rod is awesome for fishing small-size and shallow running crankbaits because of its moderate action. Both are a little longer than you've indicated you're looking for . . . . A-Jay Quote
lakeannaangler Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 Fenwick aetos 6' 6" medium light/ moderate is a very nice rod. On a budget bass pro shops crankin stick 6'6 medium light or medium. Quote
Fishin' Fool Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 With the deals that Monster Fishing Tackle is running on the GLX rods you can pick up the 783C for $276. Sign up for the mailing list and it will bring the cost down another $25. That's a pretty sweet deal. Quote
Super User fishnkamp Posted June 18, 2016 Super User Posted June 18, 2016 Go to the IROD website. Look at the Gabes Rip Rap special. I fish one of these , they are light, comfortable and since they are composite they do not rip hooks out. In addition to throwing cranks for bass I run into both strippers and blue cats here on the Chesapeake Bay. A 20 pound blue is a work out but the rod has been fine for three years now. Also to throw bigger deep cranks there is a rod called Fred Crank Launcher an IRG7113CC Check em out they run about $150. Quote

Maybe I should have bought 2 when I had the chance. I got it for small cranks after reading Dan's (smalljaw67) post on this rod. Quote
