I use a St. Croix Mojo Bass, a little more pricey though. I think it's like $100.

Here ya go, its on sale right now so I'd buy it asap, but I have used one of these and they are actually a really good deal for the price!

I would get a 6' 6" Medium or a 7' 0" Medium, That should do you good for a while!

I use a 7' 0" Abu Veritas 1.0 Medium for cranking and it is a superb rod for $100, I got it on sale for $60, so you should check around for sales.

The 665 and 705 are both lightweight and sensitive and available in both 1 and 2pc. versions, Plus they have cork grips

I have the Cabela's Tournament ZX 7'1" crankbait model. I was throwing a spinnerbait with it and was very disappointed with sensitivity. Couldn't feel a huge colorado blade unless I burned it, while my son was slow rolling, bumping the bottom and could feel every pulse and tick with a Veracity. I fished his for little bit and couldn't believe the difference. We were both throwing the same bait and using the same line so the comparison was fair IMO.  Any body want this crank rod?? Used once, now sits in the rack.

Might try posting it in BR's flea market, it probably won't get much attention on this thread

Academy Ethos Composite Cranker can be had for that price when they go on sale like they often do.

Not really looking to sell, more of a comment about my personal opinion about the rod, but I'll keep your suggestion in mind. ;)

I own several more expensive rods to crank with,  but when September rolls around I need more rods to throw different size, weight, and manufacture of lipless cranks for strippers here in the Chesapeake Bay tidal rivers.  We throw Reyeye Shads, Rattle Traps. and Xcalibur 75s & 50s and each in one knocker as well as regular series.  Believe it or not those suckers will tag on one and ignore the rest.  I have purchased three Berkley Lighning Shocks.  They really are nice fro their cost. Get a 6'6" Medium 1/4 to 3/4.  They work well.

I agree with the academy ethos composite cranker.  Wait for a sale and you can find it under $50
